Illume uses a sustainably sourced, vegan wax blend in our candles. This blend contains a majority of soy wax with a variety of other plant waxes. We use a blend of waxes to ensure a high quality fragrance.
Always trim the wick to ¼ inch before lighting to ensure a clean, even burn and prevent soot.
Allow the wax to melt across the entire surface during the first burn to prevent tunneling and maximize your candle's life.
Always burn your candle on a heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, flammable objects, children, and pets. Never leave a candle unattended.
Use a snuffer or gently blow out the flame, and discontinue use when ¼ inch of wax remains. Repurpose the vessel for storage or décor!
