Welcome to Avenue B Home Decor!

Why the name?  I chose the name Avenue B home Decor because we are located on Beacon Avenue.  It was a play on our location.  I believe it fits the store.  It's a little bit city and a lot of fun!

Who is the owner?  Jennifer Etherington.  I have a passion for home renovation and home decor! I was born in Victoria and raised in the Saanich Peninsula.  I spent 17 years in Vancouver.  I spent those years working in hotels.  My favorite part was being part of teams opening hotels and rebranding hotels across Canada.  I moved back home over 10 years ago.  I am thrilled that I chose to call Sidney home.  I have done several home/condo renovations in those years.  I always felt that what was missing in Sidney was something a bit different for decor and furniture.   

My dream has always been to open a furniture and decor store.  So, here we are today.   I feel very fortunate to be in business in Sidney, to work with our wonderful clients, and to bring them beautiful items and create unique surroundings in a dynamic, welcoming environment.
